Ideally located in the trendy Canton neighborhood, Charm City Skatepark has opened its doors to all, from local beginner skaters to famous professional skateboarder Bam Margera and famous biker Brian Kachinsky.
Since its opening in September of 1994, Charm City Skatepark has jumped leaps, bounds and 180s to become the colossal 31,000 square foot indoor skatepark serving the downtown area and continues to be a hub for skateboarders 23 years later.
Expanding from their Canton home, Charm City created a second location in Rising Sun, referred to as the “Mason Dixon.” Charm City’s Mason Dixon Skatepark is about 10,000 square feet of ramps, halfpipes and more situated in the Upper Chesapeake area. Making a second skatepark located in Cecil County that can serve more than the local Baltimoreans has been a major success for Charm City Skatepark, who can now market to many traveling within the Mid-Atlantic region.

A tremendous partner to Charm City Skatepark is 410 Skateboard Company, a local merchandise company selling customized skateboards as well as all apparel a skater might need. When asking Matt Martin, 410 Skateboards Owner about Charm City Skatepark, he stated, “Charm City Skatepark is Baltimore’s Skateboarding Land Mark!”
John McGuigan, a Team Rider for 410 Skateboards, was asked about his experiences at Charm City Skatepark over the years. “The Charm City Skateparks are perfect. You can get all your gear or skate safe from the rain and pull up with your friends and have fun. It is the perfect place to work on all your tricks and have a good time!” With roughly four skateparks within the surrounding Baltimore vicinity, Charm City boasts a culture for all to compete and have fun with their friends, also making the unique indoor skatepark available for birthday parties, private events and more.
No matter what mother nature may bring, be sure to check out Charm City Skatepark.
