Riders of all ages at Chesapeake BMX

BMX is not only for the fearless; it is for anyone at any age, male or female. Eric Huber, Chesapeake BMX Coach, stated, “On most race days we average 150-200 riders, boys and girls, men and women, ranging from two years old to 70 years old.” Some may also think BMX is an expensive sport to test the waters with, but Chesapeake BMX wants to provide the opportunity for all to explore this adrenaline-rushing sport, providing a plethora of loaner bikes and helmets for riders to use. No matter your age, skillset or budget, Chesapeake BMX makes it easy and affordable for riders of all levels and interests to try out the sport they are incredibly passionate about.

When asking Coach Huber about one of the top rated tracks along the East Coast, he stated, “I think what makes us stand out the most is the quality of our track, ┬áthe quality of racing and competition that we have and more importantly our volunteers that make all of this happen. Our coaching program really helps us as a whole, which provides opportunities for all levels of riders to come to the track, learn, practice and become the best they can be. Coach Tom and I have watched several racers come into the sport, grow as an athlete and move on to the next levels of competition.”
