FIELD HOCKEY

Event Information:The 2012 Harford Hockeyfest is a Harford County youth field hockey tournament that will be played at Carsins Run Fields.

The nation's top field hockey players will be in College Park from Friday through June 8 to play in the Women's National Championships and try out for USA Field Hockey's national teams, including the 2012 Olympic team. Admission is free and open to the public.

The goal of the Regional Club Championships is to enable every club from the eleven regions to have an opportunity to advance to the National Club Championship as well as create a highly competitive atmosphere for athletes and teams to compete.

The STX Harvest Hockey Field Hockey Tournament is a youth field hockey tournament for girls in grades 3 through 8. There is an A and B division for grades 5/6 and grades 7/8. Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams.

High School Varsity, JV and Middle School divisions. For recreation, club and school-affiliated programs. Open Draw format. A/B competition levels. Three game guarantee.

Age Groups U14; U17; U19

The registration fee is $300.00 for 3/4th grade teams. The registration fee is $325.00 for 5/6th and 7/8th grade teams. Registration deadline is October 1, 2011. The tournament will sell out, so get your registration in early.

The winner of the 2011 ACC Field Hockey season will be decided at the annual Championship at the Univ. of MD the first weekend in November. The First round is 11/3, 2nd 11/4 and Championship 11/6.

Hosted by the University of Maryland. Friday, November 19: Semifinal #1 - 2:00 p.m.; Semifinal #2 - 4:30 p.m. ET. Sunday, November 21: Championship - 12:00 p.m. ET

Salisbury will host regional 1st and 2nd round field hockey championship tournament.
