Featured Venue: Budds Creek Motocross Park
Nestled in the forest of Southern Maryland, Budds Creek Motocross Park is home to the Mid-Atlantic Motocross Association. The track has hosted two World Motocross U.S. Grand Prix; 125cc, 250cc, and 500cc AMA National events, and today's AMA Motocross and Motocross Lites Pro National Championship events, in addition to many amateur motocross races.
Chancellors Run Regional Park is home to the Chancellors Run Activity Center and the Department of Aging and Community Services Loffler Senior Activity Center. The center hosts a variety of leisure programs, senior activities and special events. For information on Recreation and Parks activities and building rentals please call 301-475-4200 ext *1670. Two Sand Volleyball Courts are available. CRRP is also home to the softball Hall of Fame facility and pavilion. The facility hosts the Hall of Fame memorabilia collection, concession stand, restrooms and upper level pavilion.
Judge P.H. Dorsey Memorial Park is comprised of 79 acres of land in Leonardtown. Park amenities include a concession stand, two pavilions that can seat 100 people each, picnic tables under each pavilion, restrooms, hiking trails, 1-90' lighted baseball/softball field as well as 2-60' unlit fields, 1 basketball court, 1 lighted football field, 2 soccer fields and 2 tennis courts/pickleball courts.

The sport of stock car racing is continuing to draw in record crowds to the more than 300 speedways nationwide. This summer families will flock to the Potomac Speedway in Budds Creek, Maryland to help celebrate the speedways 37th birthday. The high banked 3/8th mile clay oval provides affordable family entertainment that has captured the attention of national and local businesses alike since 1973.
Featured Venue: Southern Maryland BMX Track
After three years of planning and one year of construction, the Southern Maryland BMX Track opened in June 2005. The track gives people of all ages the opportunity to compete at the local, state, and national level. There are races for individuals at the novice (beginner), intermediate, and expert skill level.
